SIIC Environment in $21.1 mil joint venture to build Shandong WTE facility

SINGAPORE (Mar 19): SIIC Environment Holdings is establishing a RMB105 million ($21.1 million) joint venture (JV) company, Shen County SIIC Environmental Energy, to construct and operate a waste-to-energy (WTE) project with a capacity of 1,200 tons per day at Circular Economy Industry Park in Shen County, Shandong Province, China.

SIIC Environment secures $120 mil WTE concession agreement in Shandong province

SINGAPORE (Jan 18): SIIC Environment Holdings announced that its 92.15%-owned subsidiary, Shanghai Fudan Water Engineering Technology, has signed a build-operate-transfer (BOT) service concession agreement with the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Shen county in Shandong province.

The agreement is in relation to the construction and development of a RMB 600 million ($120.1 million) waste incineration project that will employ grate incineration technology to convert waste to energy, as well as generate electricity for Shen county.

SIIC Environment wins $11 mil wastewater recycling project in Heilongjiang

SINGAPORE (Dec 12): SIIC Environment won a new wastewater treatment project with a total investment value of RMB54.6 million ($10.9 million) in Xinglong town, Bayan county, Heilongjiang province, China.

Awarded by the Bayan Water Authority, the project’s service concession arrangement totals 30 years, with the first year allocated for building and construction, and the remaining 29 years for operating and maintenance.

SIIC Environment reports 3.7% rise in 3Q earnings to $22.7 mil despite lower revenue

SINGAPORE (Nov 14): SIIC Environment Holdings, the China-based water treatment and environmental protection company, announced 3Q18 earnings of RMB114.3 million ($22.7 million), up 3.7% from a year ago on lower costs.

Total 3Q18 revenue fell 21% to RMB1.07 billion due to 58.5% lower construction sales of RMB303.9 million on lower activities during the quarter.

SIIC Environment posts 28.2% increase in 2Q earnings to $30.7 mil

SINGAPORE (Aug 14): SIIC Environment recorded 2Q18 earnings of RMB 153.7 million ($30.7 million), a 28.2% increase compared to RMB 119.9 million in 2Q17.

This brings 1H18 earnings to RMB 255.6 million, 6.5% higher than RMB 240.0 million in 1H17.

Revenue for the quarter was RMB 1.67 billion, 68.1% higher than RMB 995.4 million a year ago, mainly due to higher revenue contributions from all of the group’s business segments.

SIIC Environment posts 15.2% drop in 1Q earnings to $21.5 mil on one-off listing expenses

SINGAPORE (May 14): SIIC Environment Holdings saw its earnings fall 15.2% to RMB 101.9 million for the 1Q ended March, from RMB 120.1 million a year ago.

This was mainly due to expenses of RMB 28.0 million incurred during the quarter related to its dual primary listing on the Mainboard of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX).

1Q18 group revenue grew 17.8% to RMB 1.18 billion, from RMB 999.7 million a year ago, on the back of higher sales across all business divisions.

SIIC Environment subsidiary awarded BOT wastewater project in Jiangsu

SINGAPORE (Dec 13): Nanfang Water, a 91.2%-owned subsidiary of SIIC Environment Holdings, has been awarded a build-operate-transfer (BOT) contract for a wastewater project at HuangQiao Industrial Park in Taixin City, Jiangsu Province, China, by the industrial park's administrative committee. 

SIIC Environment acquire two Dalian wastewater treatment projects for $42 mil

SINGAPORE (Nov 30): SIIC Environment Holdings is acquiring two water treatment companies based in Dalian, China, for a total consideration of RMB 205.48 million ($41.9 million).

On Thursday, SIIC Environment Holdings (Weifang) Co., a 75.5% subsidiary SIIC Environment, entered into separate sale and purchase agreements with sellers Thunip Corp, and Zhang Li to acquire 52% and 48% of Dalian Ziguang Water Treatment Co. (DLZG) respectively. The aggregate consideration for the acquisitions is RMB 108.48 million.

SIIC Environment downgraded on disappointing 3Q results

SINGAPORE (Nov 10): RHB Research is downgrading its call on SIIC Environment Holdings to “neutral” from “buy” with a  lower target price of 54 cents from 82 cents previously.

This comes after the water treatment and environmental protection company reported what it deems a disappointing set of 3Q results on Thursday.

SINGAPORE (Nov 9): SIIC Environment Holdings, the water treatment and environmental protection company, reported 3Q earnings rose 17.2% to RMB110.2 million ($22.6 million) from RMB94.0 million a year ago.

Revenue more than treble to RMB1.36 billion from RMB394.9 million a year ago, lifted by higher sales across all business divisions as the group continues to build up capacity and extends its geographical reach across China.
