OUE Lippo Healthcare, former IHC, to sell prized KL land

(Nov 20): OUE Lippo Healthcare, formerly known as International Healthway Corp (IHC), is shelving plans to develop a prime parcel of land located in the vicinity of Petronas Twin Towers and Jalan Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur and putting it up for sale, sources say.

OUE Lippo Healthcare ventures into China’s healthcare sector

SINGAPORE (Nov 7): OUE Lippo Healthcare is making a foray into China’s healthcare sector.

Its subsidiary LCM (China) has entered into a sale and purchase agreement to acquire 100% stake in Brainy World Holdings from Lippo Investments.

The consideration for the proposed transaction is HK$14.6 million ($2.5 million).

Brainy World has a 50% stake in joint venture company, China Merchants Lippo Hospital Management (Shenzhen).

OUE Lippo Healthcare, former IHC, swings to 3Q loss

SINGAPORE (Nov 2): OUE Lippo Healthcare, the former International Healthway Corporation, reported a 3Q attributable loss of $3.7 million from earnings of $10.1 million a year ago.

This is the first quarterly reporting from OUE Lippo, after property group OUE launched a surprise takeover offer of IHC in February, valuing the Catalist-listed nursing home owner at about $175.9 million.

Revenue rose 1.8% to $11.7 million, thanks to rental income from the group’s nursing facilities in Japan which was stable but was negatively affected by foreign exchange fluctuations.

International Healthway Corp changes name to OUE Lippo Healthcare

SINGAPORE (Oct 10): International Healthway Corporation (IHC) is changing its company name to “OUE Lippo Healthcare”.

This came on the back of OUE increasing its stake in IHC to 57.60% earlier in Februrary this year.
