China Everbright secures two wastewater treatment projects worth $100 mil

SINGAPORE (June 6): China Everbright Water has secured two projects based in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province, China, with a total investment of RMB503.6 million ($99.6 million).

The first, dubbed the Jiangyin Lin’gang Economic Development Zone Xili Center Waste Water Treatment Plant and Ancillary Pipeline Network and Pumping Stations Project (Xili Project), comes with an investment of ($95.6 million) and will be constructed and operated based on a build-operate-transfer (BOT) model for a concession period of 30 years.

King Wan secures new M&E projects worth $25.9 mil

SINGAPORE (May 28): King Wan has secured new mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects in Singapore worth a total of $25.9 million for the period from January to March 2019.

Of the new projects secured, one is the design and build of air-conditioning & mechanical ventilation and building management system works at a proposed erection of a nine-storey business park building, a four-storey business park building and two basement carparks at One-North Avenue.

China Everbright wins $250 mil drinking water sources protection PPP project in Zhejiang

SINGAPORE (May 28): China Everbright Water says it recently secured the Zhejiang Tongxiang West Area Drinking Water Sources Protection Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project, which comes with an investment of RMB1.253 billion ($250 million).

This marks China Everbright’s foray into the business of drinking water sources wetland protection, says the group in its filing on Tuesday, aside from being its first environmental water project in the Zhejiang province.  

Yongnam on track for a potential turnaround in FY20, says CGS-CIMB

SINGAPORE (May 23): CGS-CIMB Research is maintaining its “add” call on Yongnam Holdings with an unchanged target price of 33 cents, which is pegged to 0.7 times FY19F P/BV based on a 20% discount to the long-term average of 0.9 times.

To recap, Yongnam recently announced it had secured contracts worth $120.8 million for infrastructure works in Singapore, Hong Kong and India.

This bring the group’s orderbook to $448 million, the highest in seven years.

Tritech awarded $7.1 mil PUB contract

SINGAPORE (April 22): Tritech Group has been awarded a $7.125 million contract from the Public Utilities Board (PUB) to conduct Deep Tunnel Sewage System (DTSS) Phase 2 Project – Link Sewers.

Under the terms of the contract, Tritech will provide instrumentation and monitoring works for the project from June 3, 2019.

Sunpower secures $7 mil M&S project from new client in China

SINGAPORE (April 3): Sunpower Group has secured a RMB34.5 million ($7 million) manufacturing & services (M&S) contract from East China Engineering Science and Technology (ECEC), a subsidiary of state-owned enterprise China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation (CNCEC).

Under the terms of the contract, Sunpower will provide equipment and construction installation services for the flare gas system of Phase 1 of ECEC’s Yulin Recycling Economy Coal Comprehensive Utilisation Project.

This also marks the group’s first contract win from ECEC.

Ntegrator announces $59 mil contract win from regional service provider in Singapore

SINGAPORE (April 2): Ntegrator says it has secured a $58.6 million contract from a repeat customer whom the company only refers to as a "Singapore-based regional service provider.

The project, which commenced on Monday, involves the installation of pipelines and manholes; installation, maintenance and diversion services for infrastructure cables; and the service provision and maintenance of business services across the eastern, western and central parts of Singapore.

It will cover a two-year period with the option to extend for a further period of one year.

Sysma unit wins $20 mil contract to build Nassim Road bungalow

SINGAPORE (Mar 25): Sysma Holdings says its construction unit, Sysma Construction, has secured a $20 million contract to erect a bungalow at 54 Nassim Road for “an established private owner”.

Spanning two storeys, the bungalow will feature an attic and swimming pool. 

In its filing to the SGX on Monday, Sysma says its new contract will span sixteen months commencing from the date of approval from the relevant authorities, which it anticipates to receive by April 2019.

Lian Beng subsidiary wins $117 mil construction contract

SINGAPORE (Mar 18): Lian Beng Group says its wholly owned subsidiary, Deenn Engineering, has a secured a contract worth $117 million to construct a building over a period of three years starting from Mar 19.

Details of the building’s location, space and functionality, nor the vendor, were not disclosed.

In a Monday filing, Lian Beng says it expects the latest contract win to contribute positively to its current financial year ending May 2019.

The group adds that its construction book now stands at $1.32 billion as at Mar 18, after factoring the latest contract.

ST Engineering's electronics arm secures $351 mil contract wins in 4Q18

SINGAPORE (Jan 21): ST Engineering announced that its electronics arm has secured $351 million worth of contracts in 4Q18, bringing the total amount of contract wins in 2018 to $2.19 billion.

These contracts were for its solutions in mobility, satellite communications, Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity, as well as defence.

The group secured contracts to supply a Passenger Information System for Shanghai Metro Line 14, and Platform Screen Doors for Bangkok’s MRT line.
