Keong Hong secures main contract works for residential flats at Farrer Road worth $25 mil

SINGAPORE (May 13): Keong Hong Holdings announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, KH Land, has been awarded the main contract works for the proposed erection of two blocks of 12-storey residential flats (total 85 units) with basement car parks and a swimming pool at Farrer Road.

The contract was awarded by TE2KS-RH and is worth $24.6 million.

The project is not expected to have any material impact on the group net tangible assets and earnings for FY19.

Shares in Keong Hong closed at 50 cents on Monday.

Ley Choon secures 4 contracts worth about $20.5 mil

SINGAPORE (Apr 24): Ley Choon Group Holdings announced that its subsidiaries Teacly and Chin Kuan Engineering and Contractors have secured four contracts worth approximately $20.5 million for supply and laying of pipes, as well as underground services.

The contracts are not expected to have any material impact on the group’s FY19 earnings.

Shares in Ley Choon closed at 1.4 cents on Wednesday.


ST Engineering secures contracts worth $2.1 bil for 1Q19

SINGAPORE (Apr 22): ST Engineering announced that its Aerospace and Electronics sectors have won new contracts with a combined value of $2.1 billion for 1Q19.

The Aerospace sector secured $1.3 billion in contracts, including the 10-year service agreement from a long-time customer, a major North America operator to provide heavy maintenance checks for its entire fleet of A300 and Boeing 757. This agreement, as announced on 25 February 2019, covers over 160 widebody and narrowbody aircraft to be serviced at the sector’s US facilities in San Antonio and Pensacola, US from 2020.

PEC secures $103 mil in new contracts

SINGAPORE (Apr 17): PEC announced Wednesday it has secured $103 million worth of new contracts in Asia with existing clients.

The group says the contract wins came on the back of an improving outlook of the process industry and its established reputation within the industry.

Among the contracts secured, two will see PEC providing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of two storage facilities in Singapore and Malaysia. Both projects are expected to be completed within 20 months.

Keppel Infrastructure-led consortium secures $52.5 mil Jurong Island pipelines project

SINGAPORE (Apr 16): Keppel Infrastructure’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Pipenet, as a lead consortium partner together with Asia Projects Engineering, has secured a $52.5 million contract to design and build two 48in crude oil pipelines and ancillary facilities along parts of Banyan Drive, Banyan Avenue and the Jurong Island Highway that will facilitate pipeline connection to the Jurong Rock Caverns on Jurong Island.

Keppel Infrastructure is in turn a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Corporation.

Tritech awarded $147 mil public-private partnership project in China

SINGAPORE (Apr 3): Tritech Environment, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tritech Group, has been awarded a RMB727 million ($146.6 million) public-private partnership project to build a sewage treatment plant in Laifeng county, Hubei Province, China.

The estimated investment value of the project includes a construction investment of RMB631 million as well as RMB96 million in sewer infrastructure assets.

Ascott secures contracts for 26 properties, boosting portfolio to over 100,000 units

SINGAPORE (Jan 21): CapitaLand’s wholly-owned lodging business unit, The Ascott Limited, has secured contracts for another 26 properties with more than 4,600 units across 18 cities and 11 countries.

With the new contracts, Ascott’s global portfolio will include more than 100,000 units in 172 cities across 33 countries. This marks Ascott’s second consecutive year of record growth.

Ascott entered the Netherlands market with the signing of Citadines Sloterdijk Station Amsterdam, a franchised property in Amsterdam.

SIIC Environment secures $120 mil WTE concession agreement in Shandong province

SINGAPORE (Jan 18): SIIC Environment Holdings announced that its 92.15%-owned subsidiary, Shanghai Fudan Water Engineering Technology, has signed a build-operate-transfer (BOT) service concession agreement with the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Shen county in Shandong province.

The agreement is in relation to the construction and development of a RMB 600 million ($120.1 million) waste incineration project that will employ grate incineration technology to convert waste to energy, as well as generate electricity for Shen county.

ST Engineering's marine arm secures $560 mil new contracts in 4Q18

SINGAPORE (Jan 14): ST Engineering says that its marine arm has secured $560 million worth of new contracts in 4Q18.

The group was awarded a contract by the Ministry of Home Affairs for the design, construction and maintenance of Fast Patrol Boats for the Singapore Police Coast Guard. Construction of the boats is expected to commence in mid-2019.

Lum Chang secures $799 mil contract from LTA for design and construction of north-south corridor

SINGAPORE (Dec 21): Lum Chang Holdings announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lum Chang Building Contractors, has won a tender for the design and construction of the north-south corridor (tunnel) between Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 and Ang Mo Kio Ave 9 worth $799.0 million.

The contract is awarded to the group by the Land Transport Authority (LTA).

According to the contract, the group will be involved in the designing and construction of tunnel structures with a length of 1.95 km, a facility building near Ang Mo Kio Town Garden, at-grade roads and the drainage system.
