Raffles Hotel Singapore is partnering the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) to host a year-long musical fest to enliven the boundless connections of live music performances that is deeply entrenched in the Raffles ethos.

Spring fest | Gardens by the Bay
Sakura season is back at Gardens by the Bay from now till April 9. Inspired by the theme of train travel, this year’s Sakura floral display will see the Flower Dome transformed into a landscape evocative of a scenic train journey across the most beautiful spots of Japan. To complement the cherry blossom- viewing experience, visitors can also look forward to enjoying a line-up of Japanese-themed activities, such as cultural experiences held in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in Singapore’s Japan Creative Centre.
Another exciting spring-time event, now on till June 30, is Avatar: The Experience, where the Cloud Forest transforms into a surrealistic replica of Pandora’s bioluminescent environments and mystical flora and fauna.
Interactive elements are spread throughout five different zones, including a life-size animatronic banshee that roars and reacts to its environment in real-time. A Baby Banshee and Viperwolf Cub handled by expert puppeteer docents also make their appearance around the exhibition.
