TUDOR and World Rugby launch long-term partnership

SINGAPORE (Dec 18): Swiss watch brand TUDOR has announced a deal with World Rugby, where it will support the main events for men, women and U20s in both the XV and 7’s format. It will also sponsor the World Rugby Hall of Fame and World Rugby Awards, including individual players, coaches, referees and pioneers.

The “Born To Dare” campaign reflects the history of the brand and its support of those who have pushed the boundaries, whether on land, ice, in the air or underwater, and have chosen TUDOR as their partner in time.

This is in line with the vision of Hans Wilsdorf, founder of TUDOR, who manufactured TUDOR watches to withstand the most extreme conditions. The brand is known for having pioneered major trends within the watchmaking industry.

Inspired by the sea

L’Eau Majeure d’Issey, the new fragrance for men by Issey Miyake, is inspired by the sea as a masculine symbol of strength and movement. The scent evokes driftwood that has been sculpted by the sea, with bergamot and grapefruit adding sparkle to bracing aromatic notes. A wood note is suffused with salt and minerals, reminiscent of sea spray. Cashmeran and ambery woods enhance this new-wave aquatic scent. The bottle comes in subtle blue-grey with an architectural silhouette.

For the love of football

Since 2015, Hublot has been the official licensed watch of the UEFA Europa League. Now, the manufacture presents its first watch in the UEFA Europa League colours. The Classic Fusion Chronograph UEFA Europa League is produced in a limited edition of 100 pieces. The timepiece is clad in shades of titanium grey, mimicking the sparkle and reflections of the silver trophy. Orange, a symbol of strength and endurance, evokes the golden hues of the interior of the cup while the 45mm case, featuring a carbon-fibre bezel, displays an image of the trophy on the seconds counter at 3 o’clock. The timepiece has a HUB1143 self-winding chronograph movement and is finished with a grey natural rubber strap.

Stylish ride

This is rather unusual, but Dior Homme has just launched a limited-edition BMX bike. Made together with French manufacturer Bogarde, the bike has a chrome finish with splashes of black and red and a bee design engraved on the handles. It is available upon request.
