The Meghan effect
The Strathberry handbag carried by Prince Harry’s fiancée has been crowned the new It bag.

All eyes are on Meghan Markle, the American actress who is set to marry Britain’s Prince Harry in May. Like her future sister-in-law Kate Middleton, Markle has won many fans for her fashion style. Clothes and accessories worn by her almost always sell out. Take, for example, the tri-colour Strathberry bag that Markle carried on her first official appearance with fiancé Prince Harry to the Terrence Higgins Trust World AIDS Day charity fair in Nottingham.

The bag by the Edinburgh-based luxury label founded in 2013 was reportedly sold out within minutes after photographs of her carrying it appeared.

Stepping out
Giuseppe Zanotti’s spring/summer 2018 collection of shoes for women conjures up images of poolside parties along the French Riviera. The designs are playful — just take a look at the Vanessa sandal (pictured), which has ankle straps adorned with Swarovski crystals.

Pretty in pink
Breguet’s limited edition Classique Phase de Lune Dame 9085 in pink would make a special gift for a loved one. Its 30mm bezel in white gold is festooned with graded shades of diamonds and pink sapphires. The timepiece houses the mechanical self-winding Calibre 537L, which has long since proven its worth in terms of both reliability and precision. The satin-finished alligator leather strap also appears in graded shades of pink. This delicate hue imbues the timepiece with a softness and lightness reflected in the mother-of-pearl dial, whose white tones and iridescent shimmer give it an ethereal feel.

Fit for a queen
The newest collection from Tiffany & Co is inspired by the Tiffany Keys design. The fleur-de-lis motif has expanded into its own collection of bracelets and rings. A symbol of royalty, the fleur-de-lis combines femininity and elegance. The collection is available in 18-carat white, yellow and rose gold, and each round brilliant diamond is matched for proportion and set for an added sense of dimension of this regal symbol.
