Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur collaborates with Porsche Asia Pacific to create the one-off Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade
The Pasir Panjang Power Station in Singapore was transformed into a stylish event space with a runway-style arena for the launch of the facelifted Taycan range.
However, there was a special guest in attendance that was somewhat same, same, yet very different – the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade (pictured above).

The one-off Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade (pictured above) by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur made its global premiere (the second in Singapore this year) at the Taycan's multi-sensory soiree, which featured different experiential zones to entertain and educate the invited 600+ guests.
Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur's "Sonderwunsch" (or Special Wishes) customisation programme allows owners of the brand's cars to give life to their flights of fancy.

This spans everything from complete car builds – like Luca Trazzi's gorgeous 993 Speedster (pictured above) that was shown at this year's Monterey Car Week, for instance – to bespoke colour / trim examples, some of which require intricate technical solutions to realise.
There's plenty of detail to appreciate on the Celestial Jade and this is even before you consider the Turbo S's monumental 952hp (on overboost) and 1110Nm of torque!
The proceedings kick off with its elaborate Chromaflair paintwork blend of Urban Bamboo and Shifting Carbon colours, which is done by hand and takes approximately 80 hours – this doesn't even begin to factor-in the complex preparation process.

The beautiful shifting colour changes with the light and clads its svelte body for stunning effect, as it is reminiscent of jade, a noble and precious material associated with happiness and longevity.
As further homage to the Asian culture, Porsche has channelled the spirit of "LongMa" (or 龙马 for dragon-horse) with a specially designed logo that can be seen in several spots around the car, such as the sill guards of the front and rear doors, the door "puddle" lighting and all headrests.
The Celestial Jade also sees carbon-weave finish components in varnished Carbon replacing the standard Turbonite-coloured inlays of the standard Turbo S, which complement the Chromaflair paintwork and help accentuate the carbonfibre weave.
Making its debut on the Celestial Jade is the "Leather to Sample" programme, which further adds to the cabin customisation potential for the Taycan range.
The interior specialists from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur have combined Slate Grey with English Green, with the gorgeous dark green leather found in the doors, centre console and front/rear seats.
“A vibrant region like Southeast Asia deserves nothing less than our most ambitious Taycan project yet,” said Mr. Alexander Fabig (pictured above), Vice President Individualisation and Classic at Porsche AG.
He continues, “That is why the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade features many Porsche world-firsts, alongside colours and unique motifs that celebrate Asian culture. We want to thank the colleagues at Porsche Asia Pacific for challenging us with this marvellous creation – a project that will go down in history as one of the most unique creations from our studio of dreams.”
According to a spokesperson, the Celestial Jade will cost an estimated three-times more than the "standard" Taycan Turbo S in Singapore, which starts around S$900k before COE and options.
At the launch, we spoke to self-confessed Porschephile, the 20-something Mr. Ryan Tan (@porschefuel), to find out what he thought of the Celestial Jade.
"The introduction of Celestial Jade is the pièce de résistance to the already ballistic Taycan Turbo S, proving that Porsche, through its Sonderwunsch programme, doesn't just sell cars, but the opportunity to turn even the wildest dreams into reality. The effect of the double layers of the Chromaflair paint was jaw-dropping and literally had me at the edge of my seat. It was truly a sight to behold, one of the proudest #DrivenByDreams moment for me," he says.
Special private viewings for the one-off Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade will be made available at Porsche Studio Singapore, before it goes on a Southeast Asian tour, with stops in Malaysia and Thailand.
