A toast to fashion

Italian fashion house Dolce&Gabbana and wine maker Donnafugata have released the Cuordilava 2017 wine that uses the Nerello Mascalese, the main red grape variety native to Etna in Italy. The wine is described as possessing elegant minerality and extraordinary volcanic personality, the result of mountain viticulture on the slopes of Etna.

The great outdoors

Uniqlo and White Mountaineering collaborate to produce an outerwear and fleece collection that merges the theme of family. The collection is designed by White Mountaineering’s designer Yosuke Aizawa, with the Uniqlo concept of LifeWear that is made for all. Nine items for men, women, and kids have been created, building on designs that the entire family can wear. The collection uses silhouettes and colours to suit any setting, highlighting the strengths of both brands.

Children are our future

Nov 20 is World Children’s Day and Pandora is celebrating it with the “Dreams Of The Future Crayon” dangle charm. This is a continuation of its Charms for Change initiative in support of UNICEF to help create a brighter future for children around the world. About 200 children of the Pandora family were involved in interpreting what the future looks like through their eyes, which collectively inspired the limited-edition charm. The results feature drawings that resonate with the themes of education, creativity and freedom. Through the Charms for Change initiative, Pandora hopes to raise funds for UNICEF to provide young people, especially girls, with the tools and opportunities they need to pursue their passions and fulfil their potential.

Eyewear by David Beckham Collection for Fall/Winter 2021 draws its inspiration from Beckham’s focus on detail and functionality. The collection features a wider range of sunglasses and optical frames featuring lightweight, high-quality materials developed by Safilo, a worldwide leader in design, manufacturing and distribution. Warm shades are used that reflect the heartbeat of London. Beckham says: “The city is steeped in history, the architecture is timeless and the streets iconic. It’s these qualities I wanted to be reflected in the Fall/Winter 21 collection.”

Divas go green

The 2021 Divas’ Dream jewellery collection by Bvlgari will now have plastic-free packaging with the outer shell made of 100% paper from responsibly managed forests, while the core is composed of wood fibre and the internal parts, of 100% pure silk and natural latex from rubber trees that are entirely chemical-free. The new Divas’ Dream collection features an openwork design for a stunning pendant necklace in 18 kt rose gold with malachite inserts and dazzling pavé diamonds.
