One Baguette to go, please
The 25th anniversary of the Fendi Baguette bag sees the collaboration with Tiffany & Co. to pay homage to the iconic bag created by Silvia Venturini Fendi in 1997. Named after its attitude and worn under the arm like a baguette loaf, the Baguette bag has achieved cult status. The anniversary bag sees the coming together of artisans to craft the Tiffany Baguette bag in sterling silver. On the bag is engraved with lilies, the national flower of Italy, and roses, the national flower of New York State. It is also the first of Fendi’s ‘hand in hand’ partnerships to originate outside of Italy and is a showcase of Tiffany & Co.’s superlative craftsmanship. ‘Hand in hand’ is a grassroots partnership with local artisans across Italy to highlight time-honored skills of craftspeople across Italy, whose specialties in the applied arts continue Fendi’s long history of reinterpreting this iconic shape.

When souls intertwine
Liens Inséparables by Chaumet lets your love shine through a collection that represents an embrace of two souls that unite and intertwine. Liens Inséparables offers two High Jewellery collections in diamonds and white gold, the first consists of two necklaces, one short and the other in a signature motif of Maison’s creations since the double diamond pear necklace created for the Maharaja of India in 1911-1913. The High Jewellery collection has sophisticated articulated or undulating pieces, allowing it to be sensually worn like a second skin; each is enhanced with certified stones.

Love all
Ralph Lauren dresses the Australian Open 2023 team for the third consecutive year and will outfit up to 4,000 staff, including all on- and off-court officials. The Capsule Collection sees the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, for example, both the uniforms and towels are created with materials that include functional performance features, including moisture-wicking properties and UV protection, all constructed for active play. The ball persons' uniforms are made from recycled polyester and nylon, whilst the umpire's uniforms feature recycled double knit and jersey.

The Rainbow connection
Dolce & Gabbana Fine Jewellery Easy Rainbow uses natural stones such as topazes, rhodolites, amethysts, tourmalines, citrine quartzes, peridots, tanzanites, aquamarines and kunzites in different cuts. Each piece lovingly tells an all-Italian story of excellent craftsmanship and refined goldsmithing through the use of one of the most representative techniques of filigree work: the art of wire wrapping. The effect is achieved by hand-twisting thin gold threads the technique of wire wrapping was often practiced using one or two braided wires - a way already used by the Arabic and Spanish during the Middle Age. For this modern interpretation, 18k yellow gold wire alternates with small DG-crossed logos. Either in the form of pendants or inserted in the bracelets’ and necklaces’ chains, the emblem is combined with the shades of blue, purple, teal, yellow and violet of the stones set in bezels of different shapes and sizes.

Off-pitch action
Here’s another fashion brand taking their collection to the competitive arena: Loro Piana will design the institutional uniforms for Juventus football players. During the formal occasions, the players will wear classic, elegant, bespoke suits based on two of the Maison’s iconic models that offer a perfect blend of comfort and functionality. The single-breasted Torino jacket represents the brand’s design: constructed with traditional fine tailoring and fully lined, it hangs very naturally and has a melton undercollar and sophisticated details that lend it versatility. The slim trouser has a classic line without pleats and is slightly form-fitting to move freely with the body.

Shoe treats
Onitsuka fans will welcome the news that the brand has opened a boutique at ION Orchard and is the first flagship in South East Asia. Onitsuka is characterized by unique hybrid designs, juxtaposing the sophistication of dress shoes and sneakers. Much of the collection is constructed from exceptional Japanese leathers such as domestic leather from Kobe cattle. These are then treated with traditional techniques by Japanese craftsmen in the town of Himeji which is recognized for its quality leather production. With Japanese craftsmanship hidden in each pair, aesthetic details such as the classic and iconic ‘red line’ and ‘shark-toothed sole’ were meticulously engineered to serve both form and function.
