Sembcorp Energy UK (SEUK) – a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries - is looking to construct a 360 MegaWatt battery at its site in Wilton International in the Northern England region of Teeside.
The development seeks to further support the UK’s Net Zero targets by ensuring the resilience of the electricity network and further enabling the increasing growth of renewables.
SEUK says it has available land and connections to enable the installation of the batteries at its Wilton International site.
