SINGAPORE (Feb 21): BM Mobility has rolled out a fleet of electric motor scooters for rent at University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur.

This comes a week after its Malaysian subsidiary completed the acquisition of a controlling stake in UNiRIDE Ecotour, a car sharing business targeted at universities in Malaysia.

Students and staff at Malaysia’s leading university, can rent the scooters for a minimum 15 minutes for travel within and around the vicinity of the 750-acre campus, which is the size of more than 770 football fields. The university has about 20,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
