Shares in AEI Corporation climbed to a high of $1.44 this afternoon, up 23 cents or 19% higher from its last close of $1.21 on July 14.
The surge in price prompted a query from the Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) at 2.13pm. SGX RegCo requested for AEI to reveal any information that may explain the trading activity.
AEI was also asked to confirm its compliance with the listing rules.
