SINGAPORE (Dec 10): There are gym passes, and now there are workspace passes. Start-up WorkBuddy is offering companies the flexibility of a co-working space to complement their fully serviced office. Employees can use passes to access any of WorkBuddy’s locations across the island. This fills the gap between co-working spaces and having an office, says WorkBuddy co-founder Gaurav Joshi.

“Even though the co-working industry was picking up, there was still something lacking,” he says. “We thought it was flexibility, mobility and being connected.”

This is WorkBuddy’s appeal to every business, whether a start-up or an established enterprise, Joshi claims. With more and more jobs today being results- rather than time-oriented, he observes, “work is no longer a place you go to, work is something you get done”.
