The Edge Billion Dollar Club 2017

(Oct 23): United Engineers has come out on top in the multi-industry sector, partly on speculation about a potential offer. Between March 31, 2014 and March 31, 2017, shares in UE have returned an annualised 15.2%. Much of that return has been over the last 12 months, after Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp and Great Eastern Holdings announced in September last year a review of strategic options with respect to their combined stakes in UE and WBL Corp.
