SINGAPORE (Apr 30): Analysts from The Edge Singapore met up with Kim Fournais, the founder and CEO of Saxo Bank, and Christian Lund Hammer, head of platforms, for an exclusive interview recently. Fournais and Hammer demonstrated the capabilities of their new SaxoTraderPRO trading platform. Saxo Bank is a Danish investment bank and through Saxo Capital Markets in Singapore provides an online trading and multi-asset investment platform.

The SaxoTraderPRO platform was built to leverage the bank’s unparalleled global capital markets access, offering private and institutional clients more than 35,000 financial instruments across all asset classes, including exchange-traded funds, stocks, bonds, contracts for difference, forex, futures and options, from a single account. The platform caters for active traders and institutional clients who require an advanced trading platform. It features multi-screen desktop trading, full language capability and a fully customisable workspace for both Windows and Mac as well as no monthly fees. It utilises the latest front-end technologies such as HTML5/JS/REACT, connecting to a single REST API (application programming interface) that clients can access directly to develop their own bespoke functionality for trading, risk monitoring or reporting purposes.
