Hydraulic crane company Hiap Tong has won a 5-year contract from oil and gas producer ExxonMobil Asia Pacific.

The contract entails the provision of lifting services to ExxonMobil and/or its affiliates for ExxonMobil’s Singapore Chemical Complex.

The company says that whilst the actual value of the lifting services will depend on the amount and scope of work to be carried out, it expects the contract to have a positive contribution to its earnings and financial performance for the financial year ending March 31, 2023.

Shares of Hiap Tong closed flat at 7.2 cents on Dec 6.
