Shares in Tritech Group surged over 30% after the specialist engineering group announced that it has entered the sanitiser and disinfectant industry on September 14.

The group’s share price remained relatively flat at 1.3 cents from September 9 before increasing to 1.6 cents on the afternoon of September 14.

Shares in Tritech Group were also among the top three most heavily-traded counters today, with about 28.5 million shares changed hands.

As at 10.53am, shares in Tritech were trading 0.2 cent higher, or 13.3% up, at 1.7 cents.
