Secura clinches $6.8 mil contract for unarmed guards services
Under the 61-month contract, Secura will provide unarmed guard services for an O&G multinational company/

Secura Group has announced that Soverus, a wholly-owned subsidiary has been awarded a 61-month contract worth $6.8 million by an oil and gas multinational company.

Under the contract, Secura will provide unarmed guard services in Singapore between Aug 1 to Aug 31, 2026.

Secura states the contract will contribute positively but is not expected to have a significant impact to earnings per share and net asset value per share of the group for FY2021 ending December.

Including the new contract, Secura has an order book of approximately $50.3 million for contracts from security guarding, of which approximately $13.4 million is expected to be fulfilled by end-2021 and the remainder by August 2026.

Shares in Secura closed up 0.3 cents or 3.9% higher at 8 cents on July 6.
