In a Sept 28 bourse filing, ThaiBev says SpiritsCo has an initial issued share capital of HK$300,000 ($52,478.19), consisting of 300,000 shares. It is incorporated as an investment holding company. 

The investment was funded through internally generated funds, says ThaiBev, and is not expected to have any material  impact on earnings per share and net tangible assets of ThaiBev for the current financial year. 

Shares in ThaiBev closed 0.5 cents lower, or 0.86% down, at 58 cents on Sept 28.
