Sims of HRnetGroup acquires $16 mil worth of shares in married deal
Shares in HRnetGroup closed 1 cent higher or 1.4% up at 70 cents on July 1.

Simco, a private investment holding company, has acquired 25.8 million shares in HRnetGroup at 62.5 cents per share.

Simco is owned by Peter Sim, Nelly Sim and Sim Joo Siang, who are deemed to have an interest in the shares held by Simco Limited.

The Sim family owns HRnetGroup.

The acquisition, which was conducted via a married deal on June 30, has raised the Sim family’s stake in HRnetGroup to 77.699% from 75.122% previously.

Simco, in April, raised its stake in the work placement agency through the acquisition of shares from the open market, at a near 52-week low.

Shares in HRnetGroup closed 1 cent higher or 1.4% up at 70 cents on July 1.
