Nanofilm Technologies has issued and allotted an aggregate of 2,073,000 new ordinary shares in the capital of the company on Jan 6.

The shares were issued at the exercise price of 58.58 cents each, following the exercise of 2,073,000 options granted under the company employee share option scheme 2017.

Following the issuance of the new shares, the total number of issued shares in Nanofilm has increased to 660,424,110 shares from 658,351,110 shares, bringing founder and executive chairman Shi Xu’s stake in the company to 54.9% from 55%.
