Superapp Grab has recorded 10 billion rides and deliveries on July 4th as the company marks its 10th anniversary this year.

In a note, the company said the Covid-19 pandemic has led to several change of habits, which led to an increase in food orders and an exponential takeup of its GrabMart service.

GrabMart was in testing phase just months before the first Covid-19 cases were reported in the region. The service grew 50% week-over-week as it was rolled throughout the region in 2020.
