SINGAPORE (Nov 12): Artificial intelligence start-up Sqreem Technologies has had a stellar year since its Global FinTech Hackcelerator win at the Singapore FinTech festival last year, expanding its business and customer base.

Its technology for detecting patterns and insights in human behaviour is applied by customers such as banks to detect fraud, governments to track radicalisation and ­insurance companies to predict buying behaviour, according to its CEO Ian Chapman-Banks.

“In the fintech world, we are able to, at a very granular level, predict human behaviour. We are also able to do risk assessment, helping companies target the people with the right risk profile, and identify risky behaviour through data sets,” says Chapman-Banks in an interview with The Edge Singapore.
