SINGAPORE (July 16): In June, broadband service provider MyRepublic announced its entry into the local mobile market with a somewhat surprising strategy. At a starting price of $35 a month for 7GB of data, MyRepublic’s offering is not the cheapest by far. Yet Malcolm Rodrigues, the company’s CEO, thinks he could capture 5% of the mobile market here within five years.
