Rex International gets Oman approval to fully develop oilfield

SINGAPORE (July 17): Rex International has announced that the field development plan for the Yumna Field has been approved by Oman’s Ministry of Oil and Gas on July 12.

The Yumna Field has also been awarded a “Declaration of Commerciality” (DOC) by the ministry, the company says.

The DOC will enable Rex’s subsidiary Masirah Oil to fully develop the Yumna Field, while continuing to explore the rest of Block 50 Oman.
