SINGAPORE (Jan 3): Chip Eng Seng Corporation reported the opening of two pre-school centres in Singapore on Wednesday.

This includes the first Repton-brand pre-school centre and another by subsidiary, White Lodge Education Group Services (WLEGS).

Repton Schoolhouse is located at Alexandra Central. With a capacity of up to 138 placements, the centre caters to children between the age of two to six years old with programmes for nursery and kindergarten classes. In addition, the centre also offers before- and after-school care, to accommodate the schedule of working parents.

The centre is 100% owned by the company through a wholly-owned subsidiary and offers the curriculum developed by Repton International for Repton-brand schools.

Meanwhile, the other new centre is located at 262 River Valley Road. The remaining 30% of WLEGS is collectively held by the two founders of WLEGS, Jayne Nadarajoo and Ganesh Kanapathy.

The new centre, which has a capacity of up to 65 placements, will offer the same White Lodge curriculum that is being applied the other pre-school centres owned by WLEGS.

The new centre offers programmes catering to playgroups, pre-nursery, nursery, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. Facilities include an indoor playground, indoor sandpit kitchen, library as well as pretend and sensory play areas.

Together with the new centre, WLEGS now operates a total of 10 pre-school centres, eight in Singapore and two in Malaysia.
