SINGAPORE (May 7): China Everbright Water says it recently won the bid to construct Dalian Pulandian Waste Water Treatment Project Phase II in Liaoning province.

Pulandian project phase II will process municipal wastewater and a small amount of industrial wastewater in the Pulandian district.

Designed with a daily wastewater treatment capacity of 30,000 cubic metres, the project will be constructed based on a BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model.

The investment of Pulandian project phase II is valued at RMB 82 million ($17.2 million).

With a concession period of 20 years, Pulandian project phase II is expected to start operations by the end of 2018.

The recycled water will comply with the national Grade 1A standard.

Shares in China Everbright Water closed 2 cents higher at 44 cents on Monday.
