SINGAPORE (July 23): The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) has, interestingly, emerged as one of the top exchanges for technology companies to list on, having attracted a strong wave of IPOs — particularly those with a market capitalisation of US$500 million ($684.5) and below — over the last five years.

ASX currently has 236 tech companies listed on it, the most after Nasdaq (443) and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (258). In 2015 and 2016, ASX attracted more new tech listings than Nasdaq.
