SINGAPORE (Nov 16): Sri Trang Agro-Industry, the natural rubber producer, swung to 3Q losses of THB 90.8 million ($3.6 million) from earnings of THB 349.8 million a year ago.
The weaker bottomline was due to a decline in net profit margin which was mainly driven by operating loss, higher income tax, and lower shares of profits from associates and joint ventures.
Total revenue rose 18.9% to THB19.3 billion from THB16.2 billion a year ago. The on-year increase was mainly driven by a 32.8% growth in sales volume, despite an 8.8% decline in average selling price.
