SINGAPORE (Aug 11): Transport operator SBS Transit reported a 19% rise in 2Q earnings to $7.25 million, or 2.34 cents per share, from a year ago.
Revenue for the three months to June rose 5.6% to $269 million, led by higher revenue from its rail business.
Revenue from the rail was 24.6% higher at $65.1 million due to higher average daily ridership after the start of revenue service of Downtown Line 2.
