Ryobi Kiso posts 28% rise in 1Q earnings to $172 mil
SINGAPORE (Nov 4): Ryobi Kiso, the ground engineering solutions provider, posted a 28.4% rise in 1Q earnings to $172 million from a year ago on higher other income, lower expenses and a forex gain.

SINGAPORE (Nov 4): Ryobi Kiso, the ground engineering solutions provider, posted a 28.4% rise in 1Q earnings to $172 million from a year ago on higher other income, lower expenses and a forex gain.

Revenue fell 37.8% to $28.2 million as contribution from the group’s bored piling operations decreased by 49.4% to $12.9 million. Revenue contribution from its eco-friendly, geo-services and other operations decreased by 22.6% to $14.4 million.

The decrease in revenue was mainly due to substantial completion for majority of the projects while most of the new projects are in the initial stage of work.
