SINGAPORE (Nov 2): Rowsley, the company controlled by Singapore billionaire Peter Lim, swung back into the black in 3Q16 with earnings of $5.4 million, compared to a loss of $4.2 million a year ago.
Revenue rose 40% to $24.6 million. The group’s UK hospitality business – Hotel Football and Café Football – contributed $3.8 million to the group revenue while another $2.5 million came from engineering consultancy Squire Mech which was acquired in August.
RSP, the Group’s architectural, engineering and master planning consultancy, saw a slight increase of $0.8 million in revenue to $18.4 million, with contributions from overseas offsetting weakness in its Singapore business.
