SINGAPORE (Nov 4): Pan-United Corp recorded a 21% rise in 3Q earnings to $7.25 million from a year ago on lower costs and expenses.
Revenue fell 16% to $175.04 million, partly due to softer demand and selling prices for ready-mixed concrete and cement in Singapore but raw materials, subcontract cost and other direct costs also fell 21% to $132.4 million.
Other expenses and finance costs also fell 19% and 17% respectively to $11.5 million and $2.9 million respectively.
