SINGAPORE (Feb 8): Nera Telecommunications, the communications and network solutions provider, has won $3.2 million worth in new contracts.
The first contract worth $2.2 million was awarded by a major telco in Singapore. Under the scope of the project, NeraTel will supply, deliver, install and maintain IP network equipment for broadband and mobile networks.
The second contract worth $1.0 million came from a key telco in Malaysia who is a new customer. The contract relates to the design, supply, delivery, installation, maintenance and management of internet service.
Beck Tong Hong, CEO of NeraTel, says, “These are important and strategic contracts for NeraTel -- the repeat contract from our tier-one customer in Singapore signifies confidence in our NI offerings as we seek to grow our new verticals, such as that in IP network, security, cloud/data centre-related solutions.”
These contracts are expected to start contributing positively in the financial year ending Dec 31.
Shares in NeraTel closed at 36 cents on Thursday.
