SINGAPORE (Nov 2): Kingboard Copper Foil’s 3Q earnings slipped 2.5% to HK$3.4 million ($0.6 million) from nearly HK$3.5 million a year ago.
Revenue increased 6% to HK$162.2 million from receipt of licence fee of HK$30 million from the on-going licensing arrangement and the sale of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin for HK$132 million, a basic raw material for the production of PVB film which is used to produce reinforced glass for both automotive industry and buildings.
However, gross profit dropped 3.2% to $18.6 million on higher cost of sales.
