SINGAPORE (Nov 9): Ascendas Hospitality Trust (AHT) has posted a distribution per stapled security of 1.38 cents for 2QFY17, unchanged from the DPS declared in 2QFY16, despite a one-off distribution in the previous corresponding period.

Revenue for the quarter to Sept rose 2.5% to $55.6 million, driven by higher contributions at the trust’s Japan portfolio due to higher earnings at Hotel Sunroute Osaka Namba and the appreciation of the Japanese yen.

Net property income rose 7.7% to $24.3 million, but distributable income remained stable at $16.3 million as lower realised exchange gains on income hedges mitigated the higher NPI.
