SINGAPORE (Jan 9): Cheung Woh Technologies saw earnings fall 83.2% to $0.3 million in 3Q17, from $1.6 million a year ago on lower sales.

Revenue fell 18.6% to $20.4 million in the quarter ended Nov 30, compared to $25.0 million in the same period last year.

In a SGX filing on Monday, Cheung Woh says this was mainly due to lower sales in HDD components segment as a result of the transitional period as the company is phasing in the manufacturing of baseplates and phasing out of the manufacturing of air-combs in the Zhuhai factories.
