(July 31): UOB-Kay Hian Holdings (UOBKH) independent director Tang Wee Loke has become the second-largest shareholder of DISA, an investment holding company with interests in energy management services, technology and construction.
On July 20, Tang exercised 300 million warrants, enlarging his direct stake from 4.1% to 7.3%, or 640.2 million shares. Tang is also deemed interested in 55 million of the company’s shares owned by his wife and two million held by his children. His deemed interest rose from 0.07% to 0.65% after his wife also exercised 51 million warrants. In total, Tang now holds 7.9% of the company.
Eddie Chng, DISA’s executive director and group CEO, remains the single-largest shareholder, with a 12% stake. Alan Wang Yu Huei, a well-known investor in local stocks and previously the second-largest shareholder of DISA, saw his stake fall to 7.7% from 8.2%.
