SINGAPORE (Nov 15): OCBC and DBS are keeping their “hold” calls on Wilmar on expectations that potential earnings recovery in the next few quarters have already been priced in.

Looking ahead, management expects the good performance in the Oilseeds & Grains segment to continue into 4Q17, says OCBC analyst Low Pei Han, with crushing margins and volume likely to remain positive. Performance of the other major business segments is also expected to be “satisfactory”.

Meanwhile, DBS analyst William Simadiputra says it does not anticipate any catalysts that would move the stock significantly higher in the near term.
