SINGAPORE (Dec 16): OCBC is staying neutral on Singapore's healthcare industry, though it advises clients to buy Raffles Medical Group.

“The sector would likely continue to be favoured by investors, given the early stage of growth for the sector across the region and range of long term opportunities. On the other hand, some sub-sectors, such as the medical device industry, are still characterised by intense competition and pricing pressures,” OCBC says.

Singapore's healthcare providers have been expanding locally and also tapping opportunities in other growing Southeast Asian nations, OCBC notes.
