SINGAPORE (May 5): Competition in Singapore's mobile sector is heating up rapidly after a new operator announces services as a mobile virtual network operator, says OCBC.

Circles.Life has signed a leasing agreement with telco M1 to offer flexible data plans to customers, OCBC says.

The new operator is “piggy-backing” its services on the existing M1 network, instead of having to bid for spectrum licences and roll out its own physical network, gaining an advantage over potential new entrants like MyRepublic and Consistel.
