PhillipCapital has expressed confidence in Microsoft as the company reported a stronger set of results for its 2QFY2021 ended Dec 31, 2020.

Microsoft revealed that revenue was US$43.1 billion ($57.2 billion) and increased 17% y-o-y, while net income was $15.5 billion and increased 33% y-o-y.

“Accelerating demand for our differentiated offerings drove commercial cloud revenue to US$16.7 billion, up 34% year over year,” said Amy Hood, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Microsoft. “We continue to benefit from our investments in strategic, high-growth areas.”
