SINGAPORE (Oct 28): Public transport operator SMRT Corp’s rating and target price are under review by CIMB after the firm reports earnings.

CIMB says that SMRT's net profit was up slightly on a year earlier, with fare revenue growing 3.1%, but that costs eliminated this gain.

SMRT’s rail business notched its third consecutive quarterly loss, though its bus operations returned to profit.
