SINGAPORE (Mar 9): Advancer Global says its 70%-owned subsidiary, AGS Integration (AGSI), will provide customisable fully-integrated smart security solutions to address rising security threats as well as the increasing challenges faced by the security industry.

AGSI is part of Advancer Global’s security arm, which also comprises KC Security & Investigation Services, KH Security Agency and Ashtree International.

These four companies are held under the group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Advancer Global Security (AGS).

The group currently offers a fully-integrated smart security system that can provide “a well-rounded security service for any property”, according to the group.  This system includes an off-site monitoring facility and a range of technological functions and systems, in addition to new security gadgets such as its geo-tracking device and a body-worn camera, among others.

Advancer says AGSI, through its provision of customisation, will further broaden the system’s capabilities by allowing it to better serve the various needs of its customers with residential, commercial and industrial premises.

Ashtree, for example, is able to provide security risk assessment of premises given its specialisation in security consulting and risk assessment.

AGSI would be able to customise Ashtree’s technological solutions based on the security analysis and requirements of the premise, while also complementing the customised security system with security manpower from KC and KH.

As such, the fully-integrated smart security solutions and system is expected to further enhance the quality of Advancer’s security services.

“The rising safety and security threats in this modern day and the declining manpower in the security sector, has created a vacuum that needs to be filled most urgently,” says Gary Chin, CEO and executive director of Advancer Global.

“Hence, we took the initiative to build our own central command centre and established a security solutions company, not only to support our own Security Services division, but also to offer support to our fellow security service providers in the security industry. They will be able to tap on AGSI to customise security systems to complement their existing security guard systems. We believe that this is a revolutionary advancement for security service providers, particularly the smaller players,” he adds.

This week, Chin shares how Advancer Global is tapping technology to further boost its productivity and cross-competitiveness of its other services. Read the full interview in Issue 821 of The Edge Singapore (Week of Mar 12), available at newsstands today.
