CNA Group, the enabler of intelligent buildings and facilities, says the group has secured $18 million worth of new contracts in Vietnam all of which are expected to contribute to FY2010 performance.
Among these new projects is a fast-track Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) contract for Danang International Airport in Central Vietnam.
CNA secured the 12-month airport MEP system contract jointly with its partners in the Vietnamese construction industry, Vietnam Construction Investment and Trading J.S Corporation (Constrexim Holdings) and Industrial Investment and Construction J.S Company (ICIC).
In addition to its MEP services, CNA is also responsible for overseeing the joint implementation of the contracted works in Danang Airport which is constructing a new international terminal capable of handling four million passengers per year.
Meanwhile, the group’s 51%-owned subsidiary, HTE Vietnam Co. won three more multinational corporation contracts for interior fitouts, signages, landscape works and facility management services in Vietnam.
Firstly, Australian bank ANZ has handpicked HTE to replace all its signages in 10 branches and 80 offsite ATM locations country wide as part of the bank’s rebranding exercise in that country.
Secondly, Singaporean real-estate company, Mapletree Investments has commissioned HTE to carry out interior fit outs to its administration building in the Mapletree Logistics Park at Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park 2 (VSIP 2) in Ben Cat District, Binh Duong Province. Mapletree has also contracted HTE to provide facility management services to about 165,200 square metres of built up area across the Mapletree Logistic Parks in VSIP 1 and VSIP 2.
The third and last contract is from CapitaLand. Under this agreement, HTE will provide landscaping and waterscaping features for CapitaLand’s first Vietnamese residential project, The Vista, a luxury condominium in Ho Chi Minh City.
