The following companies may have unusual price changes in Singapore trading today. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are from the previous close. Singapore’s Straits Times Index dropped 0.6% to 3,261.35.
Commodity suppliers: The Thomson Reuters/Jefferies CRB Index, which tracks prices of 19 commodities from copper to corn, fell 0.4% in New York on Jan. 7, extending its decline to a second day.
Noble Group (NOBL SP), a Hong Kong-based commodities supplier, slipped 0.9% to $2.29. Olam International (OLAM SP), an agricultural commodities supplier, dropped 2.7% to $3.20.
Brothers (Holdings) (BRO SP): The construction company said it sold its entire 16% stake in Oakwell Engineering (OAK SP) for $9.8 million. Brothers Holdings last traded unchanged at 18 cents. Oakwell gained 6.3% to 8.5 cents.
ComfortDelGro Corp. (CD SP): The biggest operator of taxis and buses in Singapore was raised to “buy” from “hold” at BNP Paribas. The brokerage increased its share-price estimate to $1.98 from $1.63. The shares lost 0.6% to $1.59.
Interra Resources (ITRR SP): The oil producer with stakes in Myanmar and Indonesian fields said it has relinquished its concession rights to an oilfield in Thailand. The stock increased 3.6% to 14.5 cents.
Sinopipe Holdings (SPIP SP): The maker of pipes said it and its partners invested 10 million yuan ($1.9 million) in Yunnan Aton High Molecular Materials Technology Co., a maker of plastic pipes in China. The shares lost 2% to 24 cents.
