The following companies may have unusual price changes in Singapore trading today. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are from the previous close. Singapore’s Straits Times Index lost 0.2% to 3,176.91.

Bulk-shipping companies: The Baltic Dry Index, which measures the cost of shipping commodities, fell 0.3% in London yesterday, extending its six-day drop to 5.1%.

Cosco Corp. Singapore (COS SP), a China-based shipbuilder that also operates bulk carriers, was unchanged at $2.14. STX Pan Ocean Co. (STX SP), South Korea’s biggest bulk carrier, declined 1.5% to $13.10.

GP Batteries International (GP SP): The maker of rechargeable batteries said it bought the rest of Gold Peak Industries (North America) Inc. that it does not own for $1.2 million, making the company a wholly-owned subsidiary. The stock was unchanged at $1.70.

Keppel Land (KPLD SP): The property unit of Keppel Corp. said it increased its stake in Jiangyin Evergro Properties Co. to 99.4% from 82.9%. The shares gained 0.2% to $4.70.
