Flextronics International, the Singapore-based electronics manufacturer, will make solar panels in California and Nevada for Amonix Inc. to meet demand in southwestern U.S. states.

Flextronics, which operates in 30 countries, will use its factory in Milpitas, California, and will also manage day-to-day manufacturing at the Amonix headquarters and a new facility that will be in North Las Vegas.
Most manufacturing will eventually occur at the new site, where annual production is expected to be 150 megawatts at full capacity, Robertson said in an e-mail today. Financial details weren’t disclosed.
