Temasek raises stake in Singapore’s Amtek to 5.39%

Temasek Holdings (TEM.UL) has increased its stake in recently listed electronics components maker Amtek Engineering (AMEL.SI), to 5.39 % from 4.86 %, a regulatory filing showed.
 
Aranda Investments, a unit of Singapore state investor Temasek, bought 2.9 million Amtek shares from the open market at an average of $1.0086 a share, adding to the 26.4 million shares it already owned.
 
Amtek shares were last traded at $0.965 around 0415 GMT.
 
Amtek shares have traded below their IPO price of S$1.30 since they made their stock market debut on Dec 1. 
 
Morgan Stanley, the stabilising manager, has been buying Amtek shares to prop up the price.
